TECH NOTE: The stock 351W stroke is 3.500 and the stock 351W bore is 4.000. Stock connecting rod length is 5.956. Externally balanced engine. Stock main journal size is 3.000. Stock rod journal size is 2.311.
INSTALLATION TECH NOTE: Will NOT work with AOD or AODE torque converters that have the "long snout design". Be sure to check this before ordering. If using an AOD transmission, this crankshaft will only work with "short snout" AOD or AODE converters.
Eagle ESP cast steel crankshafts are manufactured with 0.092" radius on all journals, rear seal and snout for added strength while still using OE style bearings. Each crankshaft is inspected for dimension, size, and stroke accuracy. Target bobweight is +/- 2%. Lightening holes in each rod throw for reduced weight.

Charateristics of the Clevite P Series bearings: Typically the greatest level of eccentricity.
Both the rods and mains have high crush for maximum retention.
Reduced overlay thickness to prevent overlay fatigue.
Use where extremely high RPMs cause severe rod bore close-in, and where higher eccentricity is desired to narrow bearing contact patterns.

Uses 7/16" ARP 8740 bolts with precision alignment sleeves that locate the rod cap to help maintain big end bore size and eliminate cap walk.

All Eagle ESP Connecting Rods are multi-stage heat treated, magna-fluxed, and sonic tested.
Manufactured from a two-piece forging.
The forging process forces the grain into the shape of a connecting rod, resulting in a superior fatigue life.
The rod cap is forged separately so that the grain runs perpendicular to the load forces, which strengthens the rod.
Also, a higher content of nickel and chrome is used, which increases the strength and fatigue life without making the rod brittle.

Made of 4032 wrought aluminum alloy, designed for street and strip applications utilizing compression ratios that are compatible with pump gas. SRP pistons are forged from wrought alluminum alloys. Wrought aluminum is 20% stronger than aluminum bar stock and 50% stronger than cast aluminum pistons. SRP uses only the highest grade wrought aluminum alloys to make a stronger, lighter piston. These aerospace quality alloys have been rigourously tested and found to be the most durable material for this application. To optimize the weight of the piston, application specific forgings are designed in 3D computer modeling programs. This makes it possible to have consistent dome thickness which will not compromise the durability of the piston. All SRP pistons feature fully CNC machined domes, dishes and valve reliefs to give you precise compression ratios and consistent weights. All SRP pistons incorporate CNC diamond turned skirts to provide you with a better, more consistent finish, and have CNC honed pin bores and are thoroughly deburred prior to cleaning and packaging so no prep work is required. SRP pistons are ready to run right out of the box.
