This is an externally balanced damper with a bolt in counterweight which can be removed for a neutral balance if desired.
Features both the stock Oldsmobile pulley bolt pattern and the Chevrolet big block bold pattern for those who may want to run a crank trigger system. Use of Chevrolet pulleys will require some machining to the damper.
NOTE: On Oldsmobile 330 engines the TDC mark must be repositioned. For 400-425 engines, this damper will fit late production only. Early production 400-425 engines have a different counterbalance than provided. A good balance shop can modify the counterbalance to work correctly on the early models.
