Chevrolet Vortec small block supercharger and carburetor kit by Edelbrock 1554 E-Force Supercharger. Designed for Chevy small blocks using Vortec cylinder heads or Edelbrock E-Tec cylinder heads and the "long" water pump. Features an "as cast" finished, 4th generation Magnuson MP112 supercharger. Includes a Edelbrock 800 cfm Thunder Series AVS carburetor, specifically tuned to run in a supercharged application, intake manifold, drive pulleys, drive belt, installation instructions, and all necessary items to install. Edelbrock E-Force superchargers by Magnuson feature Eaton internals for superior efficiency and durability. Same quality as OEM superchargers. An internal bypass valve practically eliminates parasitic loss, consuming less than 1/3 of a horsepower at 60 mph. State of the art design provides boost off idle and throughout the rpm range. Preliminary Edelbrock testing netted a peak of 507 horsepower and 500 ft/lbs of torque at 5 psi on a Chevy 350 with 9.5 compression using Edelbrock E-Tec cylinder heads and the Edelbrock Performer RPM hydraulic roller camshaft. Designed to provide more horsepower per pound of boost than any other system on the market. The picture shows this supercharger kit.
