Pro Comp P1048B 6" lift kit for 1988-1999 Chevrolet K1500 and K2500 pickup with 6 lug wheels. Also fits GMC Sierra models. (Will not fit Auto Trac models.) The Pro Comp kit lifts the front 6" and the rear 5.5" to level the vehicle out. Pro Comp ES3000 shocks are included. The Pro Comp 6" lift kit features revised one piece upper A-arm drop brackets. Laser cut and welded one piece lower cross members for improved ground clearance, more accurate alignment and easier installation. Revised steering center link uses dual stabilizing rods. Compression struts add support to high strength cross members. Allows for the use of rims with up to 5" backspacing or 4.5" backspacing when using muliple shocks. Factory rims can be used with oversize tires. No increase in factory track width. Recommended tire size is 35" X 12.50". The components of this kit are shown. NOTE: Moderate to severe driveline vibration may occur at speeds above 25 mph when the 4X4 Hi is engaged. Rear driveline modification may be necessary for short wheelbase vehicles. Highly recommend the use of multiple front shocks for increased high speed stability. Headlights will need to be readjusted after installation of this kit.
