Chevrolet Chevy II Nova competition traction bars by Competition Engineering. The Competition Engineering J-bolt leaf spring traction bars are designed especially for Stock Eliminator and bracket drag racing. They eliminate wheel hop and improve traction by applying the force which normally produces unwanted axle rotation into a downward force where the tire meets the pavement. Bar length is designed so that the snubber locates under the spring eye for maximum traction. Sturdy 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" by .120" wall steel tubing is capable of handling horsepower levels up to 450 hp. Fixture welded to ensure a perfect fit. Includes all necessary hardware to complete the installation. Legal in all drag racing sanctioning bodies. Black powder coated finish.
