It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus increasing horsepower. The air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air passage. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions give you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response. The Volant ram filter is cleanable and reusable and features a high grade filter media that reduces air restriction and increases engine output. Precision pleat geometry optimizes the airflow throughout the intake system. High performance silicone hose connectors provide flexibility while maintaining strength and thermal stability.
